This anime is about a young girl named Ohana Matsumae who didn't have any plan for her future, an energetic and optimistic person.When she return from school Ohana Matsumae learns that her mother is going on to escape  with her boyfriend from debt and they are sending her to live at her grandmother's hot spring inn in the country.
When her best friend, Koichi Tanemura, hears of this, he confesses his love to Ohana, but run of  after that without hearing her answer. When she arrive at the Onsen, her grandmother told her to work at the inn as compensation for her stay. And then the other worker, Nako Oshimizu shown here around the inn. Here her life at The Inn Began..

It's really a great story and feel realistic unlike other anime with many fanservices without any serious plot / story. To tell the truth, I don't really like the insert song, don't know why either..
